Rules for using CoachLinking, booking lessons and transacting through the platform.
1. Operator, marketplace and contracting roles
Coach Linking Limited operates CoachLinking at https://coachlinking.com. CoachLinking is a marketplace for lessons offered by independent coaches. The lesson contract is between the student or booking guardian and the coach. Coaches are independent service providers, not employees of CoachLinking. CoachLinking provides listing, search, messaging, booking, payment collection, settlement, points, review, support and safety controls. CoachLinking acts as merchant and payment collector through its own payment accounts for supported checkout methods, receives payment for the booking and settles the coach, but does not become the provider of the lesson.
2. Electronic agreement and policy evidence
Selecting an acceptance control or completing a transaction records agreement to the displayed policy version, language, content hash, time, surface and transaction context. Electronic records and signatures may be used where legally effective. Material changes require fresh acceptance before the affected service continues; earlier acceptance evidence remains immutable.
3. Accounts, age and guardians
A person must be at least 18 to create and control an account. A parent or lawful guardian may book for a minor, confirms authority to do so, provides accurate participant and emergency information, supervises the minor as reasonably required and remains responsible for the booking. Account details must be accurate, current and secure.
4. Coach obligations and launch territory
At launch, lessons offered through CoachLinking take place in Japan. Each coach is an independent provider and is solely responsible for all work permissions, tax registrations and payments, insurance, qualifications, resort permissions and other local requirements applicable to teaching there. Coaches must provide accurate identity, availability, price and service information, follow resort rules and applicable law, and teach with reasonable skill and care. Platform checks are limited to those described in the product and are not a guarantee.
5. Bookings and prices
A booking records the coach, participants, time, resort, lesson scope, currency, price and displayed policies. Availability is not guaranteed until the order reaches its confirmed state. Taxes, resort access, equipment, travel and other costs are included only when checkout expressly says so. Users must review the final order summary before paying.
6. Payment, settlement and points
CoachLinking currently supports card and Alipay payments where displayed. Stripe or another identified provider processes payment credentials; CoachLinking receives the booking payment as merchant and payment collector and settles the coach under the coach agreement. Charges, refunds and settlement follow the authoritative order state. Points are promotional, have no cash value, and are earned, capped, deducted, expired or reversed under the rule displayed for the relevant transaction.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling, refunds and disputes
The financial, cancellation, rescheduling, weather, no-show, top-up deadline, refund and dispute rules displayed at checkout form part of that order. Different events may produce different outcomes. Refund timing depends on the original payment method and provider. Chargebacks or disputes may pause settlement while evidence is reviewed. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Messages and conduct
Use in-platform messaging for booking and service communications. Do not harass, discriminate, threaten, impersonate, evade safety controls, solicit unlawful transactions, upload malware or infringe another person’s rights. Safety controls may block or review content but are not continuous monitoring or a guarantee that harmful content will be detected.
9. Reviews and user content
Users retain ownership of their content and grant CoachLinking a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, moderate and display it only to operate, secure and promote the service. Reviews must reflect genuine experience and must not be misleading or unlawful. Content may be removed or restricted under published rules or law.
10. Suspension, termination and records
CoachLinking may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, non-payment, policy breach, legal compliance or protection of users. Where practicable, notice and an opportunity to respond will be provided. Outstanding orders, refunds, disputes, settlement and records that must lawfully be retained survive account closure as necessary.
11. Responsibility and non-excludable rights
Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights and liability that law does not permit a party to exclude. Subject to those protections, each party is responsible for loss reasonably caused by its breach. CoachLinking is not responsible for independent resort conditions or acts outside its reasonable control, but this does not excuse CoachLinking’s own negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct or breach.
12. Hong Kong law, courts, notices and language
Contact support@coachlinking.com first so the order evidence and available remedy can be reviewed. These terms are governed by Hong Kong law and the parties submit to the courts of Hong Kong, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections or a forum that cannot lawfully be waived. Formal notices to CoachLinking may be sent to House B3, 10 Mount Davis Road, Hong Kong and support@coachlinking.com. The English version prevails if the translations conflict, to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
